Learn to make the best buns for your homemade steak burgers to impress! • Brioche bloomer plait • Belgian chocolate brioche - in mini loaf tins or flower pots. • Rustic Irish rarebit bread, stout granary and malt bread. • Classic beautiful Italian ciabatta for the summer ideal for the summer entertaining. • Recipe packs on starter doughs and the lovely breads you have made. This course aims to teach the very basics of Digital Photography utilising the settings and controls of your camera. Explore photo manipulation using Adobe Photoshop to produce stunning digital prints. For the first session you will need your camera and the manual if you have one, memory card and USB lead to connect to a computer. A book for your notes. Suggested Equipment: Whilst a digital compact camera is acceptable, to get the most from this course we recommend that students have a dslr camera (digital Single Lens Reflex camera). Cooking with Confidence

This course aims to cover some of the basics of cookery looking at sponge and pastry making through to meat and fish cookery whilst improving your knife skills and confidence. This course is for anybody looking to gain a little more skill and confidence in the Kitchen using practical skills learnt. By the end of the course you should be able to confidently produce a variety of basic items and adapt to your own preferences and quantities required. Tuesday Evening Sessions: 18:00 - 20:30

Creative Writing - Next Step

Take Creative writers further into the writing process enabling them to focus on distinct aspects of their writing and explore new writing challenges. Writer will be looking at individual areas of their work in order to improve and experiment with technique and evaluate their own success. Thursday Evening Sessions: 18:00 - 20:00

What will I Study: 

You may expect to deal with individual writing topics and problems such as creating realistic dialogue, making characters 3 dimensional, improving self editing, different plot line techniques, writing realistic scenes. We will also explore different genres and types of writing such as short articles and research pieces. Please bring a pen, paper and your imagination!
